Who will be looking after me?

Your consultation will be performed by Dr Michael Murugiah. During this appointment, you will be asked a series of questions relating to your medical and dental history. He will discuss all your considerations and assist you in making the right decision for your needs. Regardless of your age or the number of teeth you need to replace, we can come up with a dental implant solution that is right for you.

A full clinical examination of your mouth, as well as X-rays and a CT scan, will be reviewed with you. The CT scan is critical; providing a clear and visible picture of the condition of your teeth, as well as vital information about the bone volume and density in areas where a dental implant is planned to be placed. At the end of the consultation, we will thoroughly explain your treatment options to you, covering every aspect related to the cost of the proposed treatment including the associated terms.

What is an Implant?

Dental implants are strong, small cylindrical ‘posts’ made from titanium which are embedded and eventually integrated into the bone to support restorations such as crowns and bridges. Implants are becoming a more popular alternative to dentures and conventional bridges.

My experience was excellent. I am a nervous patient, whatever treatment I'm having. The team dealt with that extremely well. They were calm and reassuring. The team at Londent is excellent. Dr Patel consistently provides me with stellar service. He identified and escalated an ongoing issue I had with an old root canal which resulted in requiring a re-root canal with a recommended specialist (who was also amazing). Without getting this procedure, I could have suffered severe implications, so for that alone I would highly recommend his expertise!

I am the worst of awful dental patients. I am so scared of dental work, after many years of work as a child.Dr Sian Li is endlessly patient with my anxiety and is always reassuring. Londent are the real deal. I hadn't been to a dentist for years - mainly because I couldn't find someone I trust in the wild west that is dental care in the UK.But these guys are awesome. Truly the best dental team in London! I am extremely dental phobic having had years of bad treatment and experiences. However, this year I had to have quite a bit of work following an accident. Dr Shefali was kind and caring throughout the whole process, taking time (even on days off) to explain my treatment options and check on my well-being. The standard of work is outstanding - a pain free root canal carried out by Dr Suraj and crown replacement by Dr Shefali. The clinic is a calm, welcoming environment with a friendly reception team to put you at ease. After years of hiding my smile, it has been transformed. I cannot recommend Londent enough, thank you for taking such great care of me.

I booked an 80 pound emergency appointment to get my crown reattached. Doctor was very agitated by anything and everything she seemed stressed and impatient and it was a very uncomfortable experience. The whole thing took 10 mins for an appointment that was scheduled to be half an hour. It just felt like she didn't care and just wanted to rush through the appointment. I paid 200 pounds into total. Considering the cost of the service I expected a higher level of care and professionalism from the clinic. I'm very disappointed by the treatment of patients.

I have recently completed a course of Invisalign at Londent and I am very happy with the end results.Throughout the treatment I was primarily looked after by Dr Shefali Sood and Millie both of whom were fantastic, however, all staff were great to deal with. Marion in reception is great.The information received as to what work was being carried out and why it was being carried out was always clear and I liked the fact I could see what results we were trying to achieve at the start of each set of braces.Happy to recommend Londent who's treatment was excellent from start to finish.

I have tried many a dentist in my lifetime, it used to always be a chore and something I would fear and ultimately put off… HOWEVER…When I was recommended Londent my fears were immediately put to bed.I have been a patient of Dr Shefali and her team for a few years and they are incredibly personable, knowledgeable and professional. Dr Shefali Sood and her team absolutely transformed my teeth through Invisalign.
